Picture readings are based on one simple premise, that a picture paints a thousand words, and I believe this to be true. A picture drawn by yourself can contain so much about you, not just the picture itself but the colours you choose as well. If there is one activity where you are more likely to put a part of yourself into, it has to be what you create on paper.
Those who have had the opportunity to sit in an awareness circle may remember what was brought to them by spirit to offer someone in the circle. This may well come in the form of an image or colour that you choose to draw and matching the image with your understanding (augmented by sitting in a circle).
On a personal level, when we sit and draw a picture we can do so with drawing or painting what we feel. No great talent is required, just an openenss to your own feelings as you choose what to represent those feelings with. So it is that an expression of you is given freely to the picture you create. As in mediumship, we extend our feelings rather than be preoccupied with the right words to say. The exact same approach works for creating a picture. Our spirit guides as well as our higher self of spirit communicate with us daily. A picture drawn with that open mind and heart is another valuable channel that spirit uses to help and to guide us.
